The   x Low “University Gold is a positively blinding colorway of ’s retro basketball and lifestyle shoe created in collaboration with  and Virgil Abloh. Synchronizing with the opening of Abloh’s “Figures of Speech exhibit at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art in Summer 2021, the designed “University Gold colorway features a predominately monochromatic yellow construction. The perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel are all dressed in University Gold leather. Contrast stitching borders the metallic silver Swoosh logo found on either side of the shoe and tonal embroidery appears on the heel. In signature   fashion, the ’s nylon tongue tag has been repositioned to the side of the University Gold nylon tongue for an abstract, “do-it-yourself look. A yellow plastic zip-tie hangs from the tonal laces. Black “Air text is printed above tonal “Air branding on the lateral side of the University Gold-colored rubber midsole.
